2013 Revscene Spring Meet

Posted by on Mar 25, 2013 in Car Shows & Meets, Cars | No Comments

This past Sunday was the annual Revscene Spring Meet at Spanish Banks. While the meet was titled Revscene, we had found out that Blitzgear had taken the reigns for marketing the meets. We heard plenty of hype about how they have achieved goals in which Revscene was unable to fulfill over the past meets.

Safe to say, our expectations were definitely surpassed! Food trucks and local community clubs occupied the lots. We just knew it was going to be a great day.

After a long hibernation, all of our members were highly anticipating the day to come. In addition to our usual suspects, we invited our friends Porson with his red Evo 10, John Tanner with his Voltex’ed Evo 8, and Jonathan with his mint R32 to come join us.

We arrived earlier than the announced starting time but to no one’s surprise, car crews were setting up already! As our team setup the tent for this sunny day, more and more familiar faces started rolling in. Amongst them but not limited to, Kevin YongFourPlusOne, APL Motorsports, OTC MaterialThe Speed Syndicate and ArtofStance were representing well for the local community. There was no one word to express how we felt at the meet, however if we had to choose it would be “overwhelming”. Seeing familiar faces and cars brought back that summer feel which everyone aches for.

The Spring Meet was nothing short of spectacular. Our local support has grown tremendously over the past few months. Big thanks to those who came by to have a chat and say hi. And furthermore supporting us by buying our limited produced stickers! The Mighty Car Mods inspired “Stanley Park” sticker was by far our most popular one! We hope to see more of you guys as the weather gets warmer and meets are more frequent.
